How Do I Start Martial Arts?

Students interested in beginning lessons are required to attend an introductory lesson with an instructor. During this time, an instructor will introduce new students to basic fighting techniques and is designed to prepare new students with the skills and knowledge they will need for their first class. This will also give you a chance to visit the school, meet the instructors, and learn more about what it takes to become a martial artist.

How Do I Transfer To Studio Kicks?

All transfer students are required to meet with an instructor for an evaluation. This is intended to assess their current skill level and to help instructors properly place a student into the Studio Kicks curriculum. Previous experience and prior belt rankings are taken into consideration at the time of the assessment. Hold & Cancellation Policy

Membership is not based on facility usage, so monthly membership dues will be withdrawn whether or not members use the facility. To cancel your membership, you need to fill out a cancellation form located at our Front Desk. Studio Kicks has a 30-day cancellation policy. This means that you will be billed for one more month of membership after you complete the cancellation form. Your membership remains valid during this time and you have full access to Studio Kicks. Any member who moves out of town and forgets to cancel their membership must email their cancellation to the Front Desk at info@studiokicks.com or Call to have a form emailed to you – 408-399-3435. If you'd like to return to Studio Kicks within 3 months of your cancellation, you will not be charged the one-time investment fee again, but your old rate are may not be honored. 

No holds for cardio or power members, or TKD members on special discounted rates. You can place your membership on hold for up to two months for the following reasons: vacation and medical. For vacation holds, we need to have a 15 day notice and there is a hold fee which is 50% of your monthly tuition. If your membership hold is due to medical reasons, a doctor's note is needed. During this period you will not be charged membership dues. At the end of the two-month period, your membership will automatically become active and you will begin the normal billing cycles. To place your membership on hold, please contact the Front Desk staff. If you wish to cancel your membership at any point during a membership hold, you will be billed for one more month and your membership will be valid during this period.


Visa, Master Card, Amex, and Discover Cards are accepted for all purchases. Cash and personal checks are also accepted for any amount.

Private lessons and specialty classes are paid for separately.

Unlimited monthly memberships and punch cards are valid only in Los Gatos.

All classes are 45 minutes unless otherwise noted.
